Detroit veteran Robert Hood commemorates his legendary imprint M Plant’s 20th anniversary with a series of remixes of the classics and rarities that have shaped the imprint's direction. Here, UK techno kingpin Mark Broom steps up, first tackling ‘Untitled 1’ on the A side from the 1995 Moveable Parts EP, adding a funky, drugged bass line to the stripped, repetitive features. The B-side revisits the classic ‘One Touch’ from Hood’s visionary Minimal Nation release with Broom refreshing the piece with a choppier arrangement that still retains the purist qualities of the original.
