Dark Entries Records continue to reissue forgotten post-punk gems with this release of French band Fall Of Saigon's 1983 debut EP. The sound is rough and eclectic, with 'She Leaves Me All Alone' sounding like a cross between Nico and Suicide, the fragile, spindly melodies of 'Blue Eyes' and 'Visions' echoing the stripped back pop of groups like Pylon or Young Marble Giants and cooing ballad 'So Long' a lovely, yearning ballad built from light rhythms and gentle strings while 'The Swimmer' has the same effect but comes with a fuller sound.
