After a remix of 'Sun' was picked up by Gilles Peterson on 6Music, interest in elusive producer Bambooman began to soar. This EP tells us a bit more about him: a fan of deep, sensual bass lines, ethereal vocals, click track beats and static, ‘Hollowed’ oscillates between disco and chill-out, like Cut Copy trapped in a glacier. If you can make it to the end without becoming completely mesmerised you’ll hear the Eckoclick Remix that turned heads in the first place.
