Peder Mannerfelt’s third record for Voam levels up the highly tactile, constantly morphing and thumping tracks he’s put out on the label thus far. Ultra physical sonic manipulations and torqued out carbonated rhythms race through The Benefits of Living in a Hole, with wobbling bass and electric pulsations elasticated to their limits. Larger than life synths slip and slide through the sparking club underground of ‘Pumping Plastics’, amplifying the track to explosive festival proportions before embarking on a hardcore descent into the basement on ‘Eurotrashed’, trapped in a blender with heavily filtered vocals and spinning beats.
