Bleep

The debut album from Italian born, London based Metroline Records cofounder Phiorio exists in a twitchy, liminal space between the club and the surrounding sonic wilderness. The Perpetual Self Doubt is interlaced with turbulent ambient experiments and splashes of noise, reflecting isolation and uncertainty through swathes of synths and cold snaps. Industrial techno palettes are freed from the four to the floor, their tension patiently paced out as layers of percussion gradually coalesce to reveal the bigger picture. Eerie metallic whalesong flits throughout these tracks, a backdrop to the vigour and vividness of electro and techno rhythms.
