Brothers Rheinhard and Wolfgang Voigt’s first album takes some of the wilder elements of their techno singles and lets them off the leash. ‘Sozial’ adds the faintest of footwork beats to a wall of blurry bass, while the funky ‘Triptychon Nummer 7’ fuses thuggy low-end with piano keys and a whispery witch house vibe. If you thought Boards of Canada had a spooky childhood the Voigts must have been brought up by wolves.
