Following the well received 2011 LP Dive, Scott Hansen returned to Ghostly International with his blissful brand of downtempo as Tycho for his second LP on the imprint entitled Awake. Merging a melancholic blend of indie-rock with dreamy electronica, Tycho’s tracks achieve a wide, cinematic feel that’s easily aligned to more melodic material from Boards Of Canada. Title track ‘Awake’ is a beautiful, dreaming ambience with an uplifting twist.
