Simian Mobile Disco return with their third album, a heads-down dance floor odyssey that steers clear of the mainstream vocal collaborations that peppered much of their previous work. The opening track, ‘I Waited For You’ starts the album off on the right footing, with slowly building atmosphere. Elsewhere, ‘Seraphim’ works some 90s rave vibes, ‘A Species Out of Control’ takes in some intriguing deep bass grooves, whilst ‘Put Your Hands Together’ sounds prime for the White Isle’s dance floors.
