Sun-scorched funk from LX Sweat, a star-gazing German producer making nascent moves on Not Not Fun with his debut album. 'Sweat Sweat Sweat' conjures up the kind of scenes that its title directly mirrors. The sounds of R&B greats come inebriated on horse tranquilizer – grainy, heavily pixelated textures, thick echo and reverb, lush synth melodies and heavy vocoder vox. Like a slightly more sci-fi testosterone-filled version of Maria Minerva's hazy wasted decadence.
