Bristol rave-ready post-punkers SCALPING may have first made ways on the back of their supposedly explosive live show, but solidified the hype with their 2022 debut LP Void. With a vicious instrumental attack to match their chosen dystopian theme, the record skillfully moves between pitch black post-punk and thunderous rave with ease. SCALPING ends their big year with a pair of remixes from Bristol legend Daddy G and London post-rockers Squid. Daddy G adds his own new verses over ‘Tether’ and Squid turns ‘Flashforward’ into a glitched out drum and bass track.
