Danny Wolfer's alter-ego of otherworldly intent is back with his latest release on Greek imprint, Echovolt. Legowelt's deft skill for weaving soulful vocal samples through emotive synthesizer soundscapes to form deep narratives is at once evident. Legowelt moves, lost in thought, through a pensive atmosphere, especially apparent in 'Transmissions from Earth 2011', a burning track of precise analogue drum and synth work. Things get a little more freaky with 'El Horizonte' a totally exhilarating turn through jacking house.
