So soon after their rapturous Planet Mu debut EP, Irish group Solar Bears pull out all the stops for this maiden full length. Clearly patrons of Kosmische synth, prog-rock, classic IDM, sensual Italo disco, acid-folk, the Bears manage to cram in a multitude of ideas across She Was Coloured In, then over-saturate them in a humid glow of lo-fidelity, analogue tastiness and 80s pop sensibilities with wondrous results.
