Melbourne-based artist Lou Karsh delivers the fiftieth release on Furthur Electronix with 3 cosmic dance floor gems, following on from his two recent outings on London-based label X-Kalay. ‘Efthemia’ is a broken electro track with its feet in the early bleep ‘n’ bass days, built around righteous arpeggios and searching, detuned pad layers, before ‘Internal Mind’ takes on a more introspective hue, with luminous, stacked synth layers over breaks and sub. ‘Ups and Downs’ rounds off proceedings in a more timeless and downtempo fashion with subtropical atmospherics.
