The 51st release on Natural Sciences, Riddled With Absence was initially instigated by Dalibor Cruz tracing his family bloodline back to the mountain town of Siguatepeque and the native people of Honduras who inhabit it. Across eight tracks, this history is reinterpreted with a contemporary hue while taking nods from the Midwestern noise scene. The result is an array of weighty, distorted syncopations and polyrhythmic club-leaning trax, interspersed with psychedelic abstractions.
