As a follow up to your critically acclaimed debut, a band can do little more to alleviate 'difficult second album' syndrome than hiring in Andrew Weatherall to produce. That's what Bristol noise two-piece Fuck Buttons have done and the results are spellbinding. Soaked in spine-tingling layers of euphoric MBV feedback do FB's loops tangle and twist, slowly morphing into epic space jams bound up by a Motorik 4/4 groove. Weatherall has royally sprinkled his magic dust all over Tarot Sport, making for an album more substantial more beautiful than previous offerings. To round off this essential matter is a truly luscious artwork.
