The orchestrator of the Wisdom Teeth imprint, K-Lone contributes two tracks to this latest release from Soundman Chronicles (Wen, Rabit). ‘Old Fashioned’ is an ethereal, moody piece of dub-techno. Opening with warm pads and hissing synths, the thing slowly blossoms into a downtempo groove that kind of makes you think of what Ricardo Villalobos would come up with if he had been asked to score There Will Be Blood.
