GOAT guitarist Koshiro Hino kicks off his new NAKID imprint with a vivaciously percussive record from Mark Fell and Will Guthrie. Infoldings sees the duo developing call-and-response compositions in the vein of Gamelan and South Indian Carnatic musics, freely improvised to cover two sides. Herculean in stamina yet granular in detail, a deeply hypnotic sense of ritual is felt throughout the clanging hits and implacable electronic flourishes of the LP.
