Tash LC’s club night turned label, Club Yeke, returns for its second release following ‘Animals’ from Jumping Back Slash.

Yeke 002 comes from Bubas Produçoes, 5 tracks of cutting percussion, emotional melodies, rhythmic horns and unmistakably Lisbon grooves. A mainstay of the younger generation of Portugal’s burgeoning Afro House/ Contemporary club scene, Bubas hails from Lisbon’s Queluz- Belas district, taking inspiration from the scenes figureheads, including DJ Maboku, Lilocox and Lycox who have all helped shape the fundamental sound of Afro Lisbon.

Each track creates its own unique insignia, a danceable and varied insight through the lens of a fresh young producer, proudly flying the flag of an ever-growing scene which shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
