Montreal and Lahti-based producer duo Biochip land on WeMe after the acid-soaked electro jams of their Central Processing Unit debut in 2019. Hexamer Recon EP marks the continuing adventures of the duo with more tracks that skirt around the edges of conventional dancefloor production. Fuzzed-out tones and bombastic 4/4 action inform the likes of ‘Bremerton’, while the wily acid bass fluidity of ‘Acid Conqueration’ and ‘Return to Xinthon’ deliver a space-aged aesthetic later fully realised on ‘Wintermute’.
