A supergroup of synthesist masterminds, consisting of Nurse With Wound’s Colin Potter, Not Waving’s Alessio Natalizia and Italian electronic producer Guido Zen. As varied as these musicians’ individual sounds might seem, Potter Natalizia Zen’s Magari is a generous work caught between the twin poles of hypnotic ambient and percussive explorations. The amniotic drones of ‘Sergio’ and ‘Falling Into The Clouds’ provide a deceptively still counterpoint to the chattering hand percussions of ‘Too Much Traffic’ and ‘Gennaio’.
