Finds You Well usually wraps up an impersonal email from a colleague or a distant, forgotten friend. Nevertheless, the tone is caring; a small message of well-wishing during a troubled time. This is the tone felt across the woozy, static warmth of Khotin’s Finds You Well, especially where the wavy organ synth of opener ‘Processing’ is concerned. Beats gradually weave their way into the likes of ‘Ivory Tower’ and ‘Heavyball’, recalling the amniotic warmth of vaporwave, lo-fi hip-hop instrumentals and a slight hint of lounge-ready chill-out. It’s a fitting Ghostly International debut for the producer.
