Composed in fragments as a sequel to a digital-only download release, Pop Music/False B-Sides II sees Will Wiesenfeld aka Baths document more extra-circular experiments in electronic pop by curating these ones that got away, strays that couldn’t quite find a comfortable home on his studio output. Yet the collection still bares multiple marks of Wiesenfeld’s knack for an off-kilter hook with the likes of ‘Sex’ and ‘Tropical Laurel’, matched by his textural adventurousness.
