Frogischord (what a name) is John Körmeling and Charlemagne Palestine, a union of free spirits that promises new sonic worlds even before you drop the needle on their eponymous record. Here the architect/musician duo create strange and vibrant music from the oft-overlooked harpsichord. Some tracks push the instrument about as far as it can go, the beaten strings humming like bees, while others have a droning and almost spiritual quality to them. Unique and visionary stuff.
