Hot on the heels of a collaborative tape with Nick Klein, Wilted Woman now delivers her debut EP for Erol Alkan’s Phantasy Sound. Both ‘Lon Lon Night Vision’ and ‘No Stinger’ are slippery, slimy slices of MIDI-grade electro-funk from the Berlin-based producer. John Carpenter-esque synthesisers, thick acid basslines and chatty 808s all pile in on the fun here. The Lon Lon Night Vision EP rounds out with Laurel Halo’s propulsive, stiff-necked techno reworking of the title track.
