Adrift between the twin continents of sleep and waking, bobbing in the ear like a distant memory of a lullaby, surfacing from the depths as if repressed; that’s the abstract for Georgia’s Immute. Billed as an EP, although about as fully realised and dense as an LP release, Immute showcases duo Brian Close and Justin Tripp’s formidable improvisational chops in their own unique vein of traditionalism and far-future tech.
