Fuzzy Logic / Future Proof is a collection of ultra-abstracted techno, lo-fi beats and industrial-strength electronics from Georgia. This is a quixotic and enigmatic EP that keeps you guessing from first to last. There are points here where Fuzzy Logic / Future Proof comes close to the kind of shadowy beatwork of Dean Blunt's Babyfather project, and the scuzzy sonics of other tunes nod to the freakbeat sounds of Ron Morelli’s L.I.E.S. label. However, tracks such as ‘Walking Around Soho’ are so garbled and intense that they fall into the same category of upstart innovation as Throbbing Gristle.
