French psychedeliac Maxime Primault is back in his Black Zone Magick Chant wheelhouse once more. For Voyage Sacrifice, the first BZMC release for Shelter Press, we find Primault venturing ever-deeper into his world of murky drones and wiccan sonics. These three lengthy pieces all sound like they’ve been recorded deep within the bowels of the earth in a spot where magma broils and tectonic shifts trigger strange noises. It’s kind of like what’s going on beneath the trees in Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement’s music.
