Jonny Nash and Suzanne Kraft come together under the MAT Studio banner once more. MAT Studio 2 is a patchwork of ideas and sounds that ends up being more than the sum of its parts. Dubby electronics, beatific morning-phase ambiences and whirring industrial tones all come to the surface across these two sides of wax. The scattergun nature of MAT Studio 2 means that it is a difficult record to classify - Hype Williams and Cankun are the most readily-available comparisons - but its elusive nature is also what makes this such a fascinating listen.
