Hospital Productions resume their vast reissuing of previously cassette-only releases by Vatican Shadow with another number originally distributed during the twilight years of the infamous ‘war on terror’. Opium Crop Airstrikes returns to a classic Dominik Fernow sound, which is to say lengthy, austere and dark minimalism left of his noise-oriented output. Across the three weighty and pitch black cuts on this LP, Fernow offers some of his greatest slow burners to date.
