Galdoors (Leif, Elgato) make it into double figures with a drop from label boss Junes. The tunes that make up new EP Cafe Nostalgia are the sort of crisp hybrids of techno, house and electro that have served Junes so well down the years. Cafe Nostalgia’s zany, melodious synth work could pass for braindance if it wasn’t held in check by a set of snappy kick-snare grooves. Occasionally a little UK bass influence filters through too - see the Lil Silva-ish closer ‘Looped-up’.
