Yet again Principe have brought us the hottest new thing on the Lisbon club scene. Following in the footsteps of DJ Marfox, DJ Nigga Fox and DJ Firmeza we now have the upstart duo of DJ Narciso & Nuno Beats. Known collectively as RS Produções, the pair come through with their own take on Batida and Kuduro on debut EP Bagdad Style. The production on cuts like ‘Caiprinha’ and ‘Abentura’ is more rough and ready than that of their peers, but this only adds to the energy of the tunes. Indeed, there is a ghost of early Eski instrumentals in the way percussion and synths whip across the monitors here.
