D’Arcangelo returns to Suction for another survey of the groups classic Rephlex-era material. II is the sequel that never was, recorded around the same time as the group's debut (recently also reissued on Suction) the self-titled D'Arcangelo 12" from 1996. II is classic Braindance through and through and is sure to hit the sweet spot for any B12, Rephlex, Clear Recs or F.U.S.E. fans.

All six of the tracks on II were recorded during the mid 90s period when D'arcangelo were most active. A time when the sort of experimental electronica of which D'Arcangelo quietly formed a key part of due to their connections and releases on Aphex Twin's Rephlex label, was the go-to sound for many artists looking for new avenues of inspiration both within the mainstream and the underground.

Recorded using a studio jam-packed with affordable at the time but no doubt considered vintage today, hardware synths, samplers, and FX, II takes in six mind-melting tracks, with the entire b-side being given over to three variations of the group's key tune, 'Diagram', and four of the EPs tracks that have never seen the light of day, until now...
