Bleep Exclusive Compilation

Finders Keepers' rare record detectives and dedicated swallowers of fashion Doug Shipton and Andy Votel have compiled this exclusive Finders Keepers x Bleep digital compilation celebrating their favourite releases from the label's vast archive of B-Music. Here we are treated to personal fav's from the duo, from Jean-Claude Vannier's Ye-Ye avant-pop classic L'Enfant La Mouche Et Les Allumettes to early label highlights from Susan Christie and label stalwart and all around musical genius Bruno Spoerri and the near mythical Selda. This comp is the perfect entrance point for people looking to dip their toes but also a timely reminder to those having followed the label for the past decade of all the probably lost forever classics if it were not for Doug Shipton and Andy Votel's tireless work uncovering and giving new life to these gems. From Soreng Santi's Thai rock absolute belter Kuen Kuen Lueng Lueng that has to be heard to be believed, to Billy Green's psychedelic swamp-funk rhythm on Race. Elsewhere the alternate universe no.1 single Atari jingle from Suzanne Ciani throws a left turn our way and perfectly sets up the move into the FK electronic years with oddball pop from X-Ray Pop, the archival Numan indebted cut from T.R.A.S.E through to the recent new age revival with Emerald Web before drawing to a close with the labels latest chapters, showcased with choice cuts from Krozier & The Generator, Bruce Ditmas and Masahiko Sato. Available at a reduced price for a limited period only and a startling reminder of the importance of this most unique of labels, here's to another 10 years of making old records feel young.
