Welcome to the Bleep Weekly Roundup, our guide to the best new releases. Our album of the week comes from Clark with a collection of material taken from his recent soundtrack to Euros Lyn’s 2018 television miniseries Kiri. Lone blends something new from old school rave styles on our EP of the week: Abraxas.

Elsewhere this week we have Finnish fourth world experiments on Going Good, Joe McPhee and Paal Nilssen-Love on Smalltown Supersound sub-label AFJ-Series, Martyn on Ostgut Ton, the elusive DJ Bogdan, Fennesz (finally released on vinyl after some 6 months!) as well as techno stalwarts Jeff Mills, Nina Kraviz, Luke Slater, Steve Bicknell, David Sumner and more back with fresh material.

Our Bleep Mix this week comes from Keysound / Tectonic / Different Circles producer Logos.

Clark – Kiri Variations

Kiri Variations, the latest LP from electronic auteur Clark, grew out of music that Clark wrote for Euros Lyn’s 2018 television miniseries Kiri. Given that many of these pieces were initially conceived for the screen it’s perhaps no surprise that Clark largely adopts a more measured approach here than he did on his previous album, 2017’s bombastic Death Peak.

Lone – Abraxas

After kicking off with the digital-only ‘Melted (Out Of Body Experience)’, Lone drops the first physical EP on his Ancient Astronauts imprint. Abraxas finds Lone mining the same seam of revivalist rave sounds that he has been doing with such success these past few years. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
