Killer dubby post-punk with roots in the Art Department of Island Records! Long out of print and actually fairly hard to find, this album ticks all the boxes if you dig Adrian Sherwood, The Beat, Grace Jones et al. Politically charged, well rounded and produced by the legendary Martin Hannett, In Dub makes for an interesting snapshot of 1980s Great Britain as well as an exciting and enjoyable listen. The ‘most physical’ album Mr. Hannett ever worked on nonetheless! Worth a look for all the DJ’s as the production is seriously killer (what else would you expect).
