Mumdance & Logos follow up their storming Proto session for Tectonic with a double hitter of sharp-edged cyberpunk grime x techno for their always on form Different Circles imprint.

Last seen sat perfectly in the mix between Mumdance's Kazzt remix and Logos's Glass on the Different Circles mix CD, FFS brilliantly knocks out a galloping break that stomps along before a stoned vocal moves effortlessly into the mix with the croaked sigh 'aaaah come on mate', this sets the scene for a brilliant half tempo mix of weightless subversion drums and an endlessly morphing pallet of punctured synth stabs. BMT starts with a field recording that recalls the opening seconds of Surgeon's Fabric 53 mix before being overtaken by more gabba kick drums effervescent of Mumdance's aforementioned Kazzt remix before melting into shapes resembling an electrocuted deep blue techno number.

The range of different styles and sounds, all thrown together with the care and intensity of two very skilled producers whos knowledge of music outside of any scenes that they may be pigeonholed in is vastly evident. This suprise element of not knowing what's gonna hit you when you turn the next corner has made Mumdance and Logos two of the most exciting DJs and producers operating within underground music right now. To not put to fine a point on it, this 12" pretty much sums up everything we love about Different Circles. Massively tipped!
