Mumdance & Logos’ 2015 album Proto is one of the jewels in Tectonic Records’ cap - quite a feat for a label more than 150 releases deep and helmed by Pinch. That album sat at the intersection of various hardcore stylings - grime, techno, dubstep, jungle - and forged a new sound to shell down raves worldwide. On this two-track EP, another producer duo (Perc & Truss) come through with a pair of remixes that will do M&L proud. ‘Move Your Body’ and ‘Hall of Mirrors’ are both hard as nails, built on kick and snare grooves that threaten to break free of the speakers at any moment. The former is slightly slower, the latter more frenetic, but both will stand out in any mix due to their sheer force.
