London’s Dark Sky continue their excellent 2017 with another single and remix package. Roman Fluegel follows in the footsteps of Danny Daze in tackling ‘The Walker’, a highlight from Dark Sky’s recent Othona LP. Much like the original, Fluegel’s version grows into itself slowly across 7-plus minutes while sanding the edges off of the original’s pounding kick track and bringing some gorgeous keyboard harmonies into play. Dark Sky offer another piece of moody, emotive techno of their own with lead cut ‘The Passenger’, a track that also touches on US garage and two-step. Rounding things off is a rousing live version of Othona’s ‘Angels’.
