Hyper intense computer music from Powell’s ever forward thinking Diagonal label, one short skit even utilising electrical interference samples as a precursor to a fast gabber track. The term ‘not for everyone’ often falls a little short of its meaning but for the N.M.O. project we are going to throw it out there. Appearing to be some sort of conceptual art piece, the music sounds as if it was made with the intention of accompanying a larger project, perhaps an installation of sorts. Continuing the remit of 80’s industrial but channelling it through 21st century technology, Diagonal 031 will have appeal to fans of N.M.O.’s previous work or perhaps avid fans of the label.
