Russian-born sound artist Ivan Pavlov unfolds his most considered work to date with long-standing experimental imprint Editions Mego with Music Vol. It’s a piece that explores the space and silence between sounds, distilling the sonics to their purest form to induce us into a sense of hypersensitivity whereby every discrete change in pitch, texture or amplitude is fully experienced. Each piece deals in intricate, although not ambient soundscapes, ranging from the theta wave generating, meditative glow of ‘Vivid’ to the more nimble, angelic discordancies of ‘Eemian’.
