Following the commercial success of American rock band Alabama Shakes both in the U.S. and U.K., frontwoman Brittany Howard decided to sit down and record her own solo album. The name ‘Thunderbitch’ certainly isn’t gonna land these tracks on daytime radio anytime soon, but that’s not to say this is particularly difficult music: instead, it’s some no-nonsense rock’n’roll revival harking back to the glory days of blues and garage rock.
