Coming soon after the release of his ambitious, multi-format album F O R M A T, musician and visual artist Trevor Jackson returns to The Vinyl Factory with ‘300 Words’. Recorded at London arts centre The Barbican as part of Station To Station, a month-long series of residencies, installations, performances, and workshops, ‘300 Words’ sees artist Emma Berit Smit speaking the 300 words of the song’s title over Jackson’s splintered electronics and found sounds collected by Tom Furse (resident experimentalist with indie-psych outfit The Horrors). The release is limited to 300 copies, with each unique hand-designed sleeve featuring a separate word spoken on the track.
