You know the score by now - every once in a while MF Doom collates a bunch of beats he’s either rapped on himself or given away to other MCs into a Special Herbs LP. Volumes 5 & 6 feature some of the dastardly mastermind’s most beloved productions (‘Coffin Nails’, for instance, is the instrumental for MM.. Food’s ‘Rap Snitch Knishes’). This new Nature Sounds pressing of Special Herbs Vol. 5 & 6 features a bonus 7” containing ‘Contact Blitt’ and ‘Constipated Monkey’, two joints that didn’t appear on either volume first time around.
