Soulful electronica from the one and only Jamie Lidell, New Eyes finds the producer in a laid-back mood on this limited number recorded for the Vinyl Factory's Station to Station series of events. New Eyes is classic Jamie Lidell slinky rhythms and seductive vocals in full effect and a warm soul vibe that comes across like a chilled wind down version of the Jim LP. On the flip Seye Wen goes for a reversed dub mix of the original, stripping back the production and creating something unlike any other recording we have heard from Jamie but in true experimental style akin to his various releases on Warp.
