Ninja Tune producer Romare reworks ‘Rainbow’, a tribute to the late-‘70s disco scene and a standout cut from his debut album Projections, for a special single release. The club version is a classic extended 12” mix, elongating the track’s grooves, dialing up the heat, and drawing out the sighs and the breaths for maximum dancefloor ecstasy. The bedroom version, by contrast, reconfigures the song as a sultry R&B slow jam. Complementing the release is a slow-burning dance track called ‘Love Song’, which tonally fits perfectly between both versions of ‘Rainbow’.
