Making good on their recent inking, Alpha Pup Records present this debut full-length from hip-hop beat making force KING. There is an air of nostalgia to cuts like Suslord Theory which toes the line between the gutter and the glamour like all stellar rap beats do. While it might have a vintage dimension to it, there is an experimentalism and explorative sound to the 15 cuts on Let Flavor Manifest that separate it from the more standard throwback beat tapes. Off-centre sampling, polished production and a far-reaching set of rap-rooted influences make up this impressive debut.
