Berghain’s in-house imprint provide their signature product with these three cuts from Len Faki. The story goes that the tracks were put together straight after a stint in the club itself. As the tracks play out, some of that imposing Herculean techno energy can be felt. From the the eyes-down simplicity of For Real to the dingy headiness of Hainish Cycle, Faki proves his worth as one of the most exciting and idiosyncratic forces in contemporary techno. Fitting then that he releases these cuts in tandem with techno’s nucleus.
