Mr. Foggs’ third album sees him broaden his musical pallet. Arriving via his own Kicking Ink Recordings imprint, 'Youth’ subsists on its pristine organ, flugelhorn and string parts, marking a shift away from the electronics emphasising style of its predecessors, 2010’s Moving Parts and 2012’s Eleven. This allows Mr. Foggs to effectively play with dynamics, instrumentally condensing his emotional productions as they progress: his embracing, Jonsi-like falsetto voice leads through this intimate journey — that he wrote as a response to his father’s death in 2012.
