A slice of previously unheard reissue magic from Numero Group with this album from Missouri ‘70s outfit White Eyes. The band toured extensively using little more than a makeshift booking schedule and a 1953 Cadillac. They put this record together to hand to potential label heads and talent scouts. Recorded between 1969 and 1970, their dreamy psychedelic pop is rich in both melody and instrumentation. From the airy lullaby vibes on October to the open-road anthem atmosphere of A Girl On A Hill, this is golden songwriting from a golden era of the craft.
