More 80’s obscurity from Light In The Attic, this time from forgotten Canadian musician Lewis. A 1983 private press release rediscovered at a flea market, L’amour is a slight collection of delicately sung love songs and airy, synth-accompanied instrumentals that possess an invigorating candidness and sincerity, like home demos or journal entries read aloud for the first time. Parallels can easily be drawn between Lewis and better know contemporaries Arthur Russell and The Blue Nile’s Paul Buchanan. Standouts include heartbreaking opener ‘I Thought The World Of You’, the yearning ‘Like To See You Again’ and the absolutely heavenly ‘Love Showered Me’.

First ever LP reissue, first time on CD & Digital. All tracks newly re-mastered. LP housed in deluxe Stoughton “Tip-On” gatefold jacket. New liner notes by Jack D. Fleischer. Unseen photos by legendary photographer Ed Colver (Black Flag, Circle Jerks). LP includes download card
